English (US)   Google, Yahoo and Bing.com (formerly MSN) The Top Three  -  Categories: Background  -  @ 01:46:37 am

In a previous blog post I talked about how Google had changed their organic search. I have been placing some web sites with #1 listings in Google here recently. I think that Google has improved their organic search. In most cases their new alghorithm is not harder for the SEO webmasters. Now, in the case where a Google user has already searched and clicked on a web site. Google may rank that site more relevant than a web site the user has not been to for that particular keyword or keyword phrase.

I was watching the news the other day and saw the segment on Yahoo and Bing.com. It appears that Yahoo is going to be powered by Bing.com. Over the last 11 years I have watched how the search engine trends change. Yahoo used to be the #1 search engine following Excite. Now Google has been on top as the #1 search engine for several years. I think Bing.com is working to gain market share to compete with Google for #1 in the number of searches and hits per day.
